dmg world media - Responsible for major exhibitions such as the Ideal Home Show, dmg world media employs OneOverZero to develop both its internet and intranet systems. We are working to migrate its existing intranet from ASP on Windows to PHP on GNU/Linux, which includes all its user management and information network. The internet presence then derives its content from the intranet via a synchronisation mechanism.

Artemis Intelligent Power - Heavily involved in Digital Displacement™ hydraulic power technology, Artemis needed a database-driven parts tracking system. Despite the short time frame available for design, implementation, and deployment, the system we provided is used to generate serial numbers for every part that goes into every machine built by Artemis, and allows them to track each part from the moment it arrives in their workshop.

Malignant Films - Independent film makers currently working on their first full length picture. The challenge here was to create a site which reflected the mood of the film, but which also provided all the relevant information about the production for potential funders or other professional film bodies. It utilises a standard framework for static site content which we have developed at OneOverZero which is both quick to install and customise.

Software

The Tapir - written by Richard whilst at Edinburgh University Library to aid the management of e-theses in DSpace. It is now currently being used as a driver for new functionality in the DSpace core.

PSyCoMa - written by Jim as his undergraduate final year project, PSyCoMa is a web application for managing scientific conferences.

DSpace - Richard has been a core developer for DSpace since the Apache development model was adopted by the DSpace Federation in 2003.

Services

Edinburgh Research Archive (ERA) - During his time at Edinburgh University Library Richard was involved in the development of this Institutional Repository system, which was one of the first production services of its type in the UK. It uses DSpace and The Tapir as well as heavy local customisations and a usage analysis tool which is now part of the standard DSpace distribution.

Bergen Open Research Archive (BORA) - Richard was asked to move to Norway to work with BORA, which was one of the first Institutional Repositories in Scandinavia. The job has been (among other things) to bring the system up to standard for internationalisation, integration with national aggregating services and also to build related internal information management systems.
